My name is Allen Forbes II. I’ve wanted to be a storyteller since early childhood. I used to read so much as a boy that I was prescribed reading glasses to combat eye strain. (They call that “Harry Potter Syndrome” now, but I got it from reading many different books.)
I especially loved comic books. The combination of words and pictures always fascinated me. I always knew I’d want to tell illustrated stories, so I spent years learning art and writing, developing my skills in art and design. I transitioned from working in traditional illustration to creating 3D generated art. All while dreaming about fulfilling a lifelong passion to tell stories in some way, shape, or form.
I was recently inspired to return to a 20+ year old idea and write my first children’s book. These books are fun to create and let me tell stories the way I love the most, with words and pictures. I couldn’t be prouder of the results.
